Jenny is the author of 34 nonfiction books for readers ages 12 to 18 and an academic copyeditor whose clients have included the American Medical Association, Elsevier, SAGE Publications, and Human Kinetics. She earned her Master of Fine Arts in creative writing at National University and has a graduate certificate in medical writing and editing from the University of Chicago. She is also a certified TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language ) instructor. Jenny has taught college composition and communications courses and is an assistant regional advisor for the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI). She leads frequent writing workshops and has mentored many authors through Nevada SCBWI's flagship mentorship program.
